What Would A Brave Person Do?

Is there something you know that you need to do, but you are scared to do?

Something that would make all the difference to a situation you are in?

Perhaps you have come to an action point in the problem solving exercise I outlined in my previous article, but your stomach just turned over queasily and you realised that you were scared to take that action.

Something in your business?

Something in your marketing?

Something in your relationship?

Something in your life?

Scared might be too big of a word, you might prefer ‘reluctant’.

But I’ve found, if you call a spade a spade, you are more likely to get the garden dug.

So there's something you know will make a huge difference but you are scared to do it, say it, go there.

Just ask yourself, what would a brave person do?

Then do it.

Remember that, on your death bed, it’s the things you don’t do that you regret, very rarely the things you do.

I'd love to hear about the things you did, the changes you made, the words you spoke, that made a huge difference to your life.

Mine was public speaking.  Every time I got up to speak for my allotted 2 minutes at BNI my legs shook and my hands were sweaty.  But once I got onto a bigger stage, in front of about 600 people, I was fine. My singing sister Heather says she feels the same.  Put her on a stage at the Royal Albert Hall and she loves it, put her in a tiny, intimate jazz club and she feels nervous as hell.

Now I actively seek out speaking gigs, I absolutely love it.
