Day 4 - Starting To Share Your Content

Welcome back.

Watch today’s Overview Video below first, then come back to see your Tasks for the day.

As always, any questions, just look for the appropriate image/post in the Facebook group and add your questions, comments, requests for feedback or techie help underneath that image with the correct hashtag.

For reference, here's a couple of Ideal Workflows, but do watch the video for context.

YouTube Video > Audio > Transcript > Blog Post > Social Media > Podcast

Or

Blog Post > Social Media > Audio > Podcast > YouTube

Or

Audio > Blog Post > Social Media > Podcast > YouTube

I hope you enjoy Day 4 - it's intense but if you can master this, your whole content marketing system will flow so much easier.

Please Read These Instructions Carefully

Task 1: Uploading Video to YouTube For SEO

There's a specific way to do this to maximise your chances of getting some traffic from both YouTube and Google Search. Before you upload your video to YouTube, it’s imperative you watch ALL videos for this day, particularly the ones about how to structure your Title & Description, and what to include in your Description and Tags to ensure you get best coverage for your video.

Here's a couple of short tuition videos to show you how to do that.

You will want to take notes!

As soon as you have a video uploaded to YouTube - either Public or Unlisted, do get your Share Link and share your videos in the AMA Day 04 post - I would love to see them.

If you want my feedback from me or your fellow students. Use the hashtag #feedback

Task 2: Turning Your Videos Into Social Media Posts

You can get transcriptions, shownotes, highlights and key phrases done free (up to a certain point) at Podium.page.  Podium's ChatGPT section will even create a promotional Twitter thread for you!

Task 3: Captions

It's also important to get your videos captioned for SEO purposes.  You can also set your video language to English (UK or USA) at YouTube and after as few days your video will be captioneed by YouTube and you can download with timestamps or as text.  You can then put that text into ChatGPT and ask it to turn it into a post for your blog, Facebook or LinkedIn.  Amazing!

You can also get the video captions & transcription done for $1 a minute at Rev.com.  Their business model must be really suffering.

Task 4: Images

You can either use Dall-E to create a 16:9 size photo-realistic image for your blog post & social media from within ChatGPT (I only do this when desperate as I don't like the way they look) or you can choose a free image at Unsplash.com.  Try and intrigue as dramatic, pictures that around curiosity will get more clicks than boring, obvious ones!

Task 5: Podcast

If you are just getting started podcasting, a free Substack account is your friend.  Alway upload your blog content to your own website first, so that Google will index that before Substack.  A few days later, upload the written version and the audio to Substack as a podcast and they will spread it over all the podcast platforms including Apple and Spotify.  You can start a YouTube podcast - more podcast listeners than Apple now - and bring in the RSS feed from Substack

That it for today!

Ask your questions and share your videos in the Facebook Group.

Remember, there's no such thing as silly questions, ever!

Warm regards
Nicola.
